Outdoor Adventure - School Holiday Program

Get the Kids off the Xbox and back to nature with a School Holiday Program like no other!

A one of a kind learning experience for kids aged 6-16.

9am - 3pm every day! 2 or 4 day options available!

Lessons and Activities:
- Surfing (primary focus- likely 3 days) – pending conditions.
- Paddleboarding / Kayaking (likely 1 day) – pending conditions.
- Bodyboarding – (available during surfing).
- Snorkelling – (available during paddleboarding).
- Beach & Harbour Safety – every day.
- Other coastal activities promoting confidence, learning, and fun.

To be held Primarily Te Arai Beach / Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach & Mangawhai Harbour. (may change pending conditions) – we contact you by email the night before with details of location and activities that will be conducted.

What's included:
Everything! Surfboards, paddleboards, kayaks, wetsuits, Instructor coaching, water, sunscreen and a fantastic experience. We will also provide biscuits and fruit for snacks, however, ask that kids come with lunch.

Supervision:
A strict 6:1 child to supervisor water ratio (industry max is 8:1). Instructors are International Surfing Association Surfing and Paddleboarding Instructors, with current First Aid and Surf lifesaving community award. 4+ supervisors minimum at all times.

Cost:
$9 for full 4 day program (Mon - Thu)
$9 for 2 days (your choice of days)

What to bring:
Kids with a full belly of breakfast and a small backpack. Please bring kids lunch, hats, walking shoes/sandals, light rain jacket, towel and warm clothes.

Safety:
Safety is paramount. Land and Water safety is our #1 focus. We will only operate activities where conditions are suitable and at all times adventure kids will be coached, trained and supervised in everything they do. This is an all weather program adapting locations and activities.
