The Portage Ceramic Awards celebrates current and future directions of ceramics in New Zealand. The awards showcase some of the best contemporary ceramic artists in the country as well as helping to create discussion around the developments in the ceramics field.
This year's awards have been judged by Whanganui-based curator and writer, Emma Bugden. Work from all the finalists will be on display at the exhibition.

The Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery is open Monday - Sunday 10am to 4.30pm. The exhibition runs until 11th February 2018.
