The challenging walk to Cathedral Cove takes between 30 - 45 minutes, but the reward is well worth it, stunning coastal views and the opportunity to explore this breathtaking beach. Mautohe Cathedral Cove has been named one of the Top 50 Beaches in the World! ****Guests must have a high level of fitness and be capable of completing the challenging 40-minute walk to and from Cathedral Cove***** PLEASE NOTE: Access to Cathedral Cove is weather-dependent. For safety reasons, the track may be unsuitable after or during heavy rain. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to ensure you still have an incredible experience! Following a day of exploration, we’ll head back to Auckland, where you can reflect on the unforgettable memories of the Coromandel Peninsula, but not without stopping for a quick ice-cream and some more photos.

• This tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility or fitness
• Children below 8 years old are required to travel in a child safety car or booster seat- these can be provided for $20 NZD. Please advise the ages of children upon booking.
