Centrally located on the bustling Ponsonby Road, Mekong Baby offers Southeast Asian food with a modern touch.

The simple interior décor is mixed with prints depicting life in Vietnam and the restaurant is built around the marble bar that takes centre stage and from which staff serve classic cocktails with a Mekong Baby twist.

The food is inspired by the Southeast Asian region and blends spicy tastes with sweet and sour flavours and French techniques.  Dishes include prawn cakes with sweet chilli dipping sauce, quail egg dumplings and jungle curry and braised pork belly.​
