Touquet - Auckland
Inspired by French bistros, Touquet in central Auckland is a small and friendly establishment, which offers local produce at great prices in a cosy atmosphere.
The restaurant sources its produce from around New Zealand including salmon from Akaroa on the South Island and lamb from the North Island's Hawkes Bay region. The menu is short and regularly changes with the change in seasonal produce.
Dishes include ricotta and spinach ravioli, chicken supreme with polenta and rump steak with butternut squash and silverbeet. Desserts include decadent chocolate tarts and refreshing pineapple, while the wine list features a selection of New Zealand and international labels.
Monday to Friday: 12.00pm - 2.30pm and 6.00pm - 9.30pm / Saturday: 6.00pm - 10.00pm.
