The retro interior, low prices and somewhat tacky entranceway to this Malaysian eatery can be deceiving, and first-time visitors could perhaps be forgiven for not being overly excited at first glance. At Sri Pinang though, the proof really is in the eating.

The food is held in high esteem by locals who've been coming here to enjoy the Malay curries and vegetarian dishes year after year, while most all visitors leave happy, impressed by the large portions and authentic flavours that abound.
