Army Bayはシェークスピア・リージョナルパーク内の3つのビーチの1つです。このリージョナルパークは、レクリエーション、農業、保護を統合したオープンサンクチュアリーです。ビーチには、水を見渡せる無料駐車場と、ピクニックに最適な狭い芝生地があります。

Army Bayは、ローカルがボートを打ち上げたり、カヤックやパドルボードを楽しんだりする人気スポットです。砂浜の穏やかな曲線、提供される隠れ家、およびハウラキ湾の景色が、訪れる人々が簡単にリラックスして景色を楽しむ絵のようなスポットを作り出しています。

道路を渡った向かいには、シェークスピア・リージョナルパークへのメインエントランスがあります。このリージョナルパークは、固有の野生生物の生息地であり、いくつかの景観散策路が含まれています。

公園のメインエントランスから徒歩5分で、小さなが美しい谷の滝に、そして30分の散歩で、ハウラキ湾の360度パノラマ景色を楽しむ展望台に到達できます。
