Description
Begin at the Te Toka O Apihai Te Kawau memorial on Auckland's waterfront, commemorating the city’s origins. Travel along Tamaki Drive where your guide shares stories about Auckland’s first explorers before arriving at Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park at Bastion Point.
Continue along the coast past Mission Bay, a local spot for dining, walking, or swimming during summer. Your guide will highlight key volcanic sites and landmarks along the route.
