Meet your instructor at the Ferry Ticket Office in the Devonport Ferry Terminal. After signing in, store any bags and have a helmet fitted. Then proceed to Victoria Wharf for a safety briefing and Segway riding instructions, whether you are a beginner or need a refresher. You will have time to practice before starting the tour.
Ride along the Devonport Waterfront, gaining confidence on gentle inclines and varying terrain. Pass ancient lava flows, the local yacht club, historic taverns, and restored Victorian villas as you head toward Cheltenham Beach. Along the way, enjoy views of the Hauraki Gulf and nearby islands, including Rangitoto, the oldest volcanic cone in the region. Glide up the hills to capture panoramic sights of Auckland city.
