Our journey begins bright and early as you depart Hamilton and head towards the lush landscapes of the Waikato region. Your first stop is the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set. As you approach the rolling green hills of the countryside, you'll feel like you've stepped into the magical realm of Middle-earth. Upon arrival at Hobbiton, you can start with a visit to the official Hobbiton Gift Shop, where you can browse a selection of themed souvenirs. You can also enjoy a coffee, snack, or refreshing beverage at the renowned Shire's Rest Café. Embark on a captivating 2.5-hour guided tour of the sprawling 1,250-acre sheep farm, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Kaimai Ranges. Follow your knowledgeable guide as they lead you through the charming Hobbit holes, lush gardens, and iconic landmarks featured in the beloved Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films. • We can only pick up from our meeting point in Hamilton ( Robert Harris Cafe - in Ruakura ) You can choose to return to Auckland or Hamilton Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the tour Expect a moderate amount of easy walking during the activity Children under 7 years old must travel in a child safety car seat. If you do not have one, you can rent a car seat from the local partner for $30 per child with 24 hours notice
