Your guide for the day will be a local, highly knowledgeable Maori, who will be able to share the region’s indigenous history and culture from a personal perspective. Auckland is the world’s largest Polynesian city and home to a variety of cultures from across the Pacific. You’ll see the best that Auckland city and its West Coast have to offer on this tour. Views of several ancient volcanoes and marvel at the architecture of the Auckland Museum, one of New Zealand’s most beautiful buildings, as you visit the Auckland Domain. Explore the boutique suburb of Parnell, restored in the old colonial style with many beautiful mansions and along Tamaki Drive, one of the world’s most beautiful city drives. See several stunning beaches along Auckland's shoreline including Mission Bay, arguably Auckland’s most well-known beach with lovely golden sand and safe swimming. Drive over the famous Auckland Harbour Bridge spanning the Waitemata Harbour, see the Hauraki Gulf and great views of the mystical island volcano Rangitoto Island, Auckland’s largest and youngest volcano at 600 years old. Visit the Arataki Visitor Centre at the gateway to Auckland's famous West Coast, which is well-known for its interesting displays and magnificent views over the Manukau Harbour. The second part of the tour takes you to Auckland’s West Coast. Drive through Titirangi and stop at the Arataki Visitor Centre - the gateway to Auckland's West Coast. From here you’ll enjoy magnificent views over the Manukau Harbour. You’ll marvel at views of the soaring cliffs, take in incredible ocean vistas, the roaring surf, and enjoy a beautiful volcanic black sand beach. See amazing Kauri trees as well as Pohutukawa trees with their crimson flowers (in season) in Auckland's famous Waitakere Ranges subtropical rainforest. Return to Downtown Auckland after a wonderful day with a greater appreciation of Auckland and New Zealand’s Maori culture along the way.

Fully guided service in Mercedes luxury vehicle. Pick-up/drop-off within Auckland’s Downtown area (for airport or cruise ship pick-up or drop-off please refer to our private tours).
