Step into the role of winemaker for an afternoon at Matakana Estate, nestled in the heart of one of New Zealand's most celebrated wine regions. In this guided 1-hour Wine Blending Experience, you'll be led by our wine host through the art of blending red wines. You'll experiment with different varietals, explore how each one contributes to the structure and character of the final wine, and craft a blend that is entirely your own. On arrival, enjoy a welcome glass of rosé. Throughout the session, a beautifully curated platter is served alongside your tasting, making for a relaxed and indulgent afternoon at the vineyard. At the close of the session, you'll take home a 375ml bottle of your personalised blend, sealed and labelled, along with a wine blending booklet to help you remember the experience and continue your wine journey.
