Description
Located just a 10-minute drive (6 km) from downtown Auckland, SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium was founded by diver and explorer Kelly Tarlton over 30 years ago. The aquarium remains a leading attraction in the city.
Walk through the Penguin Ice Adventure exhibit and watch king penguins and gentoo penguins swim and interact. At the Rockpool area, you can touch starfish and learn about the aquarium’s turtle rehabilitation program.
Stand beneath the Shark Tunnel to see sand tiger sharks, giant stingrays, and the camouflaged carpet shark called the Wobbegong. Visit Seahorse Kingdom to observe the rare spiny sea dragons.
