Description
Board a 41-foot catamaran for a day of sailing, swimming, snorkelling, and stand-up paddleboarding. Visit a pest-free island for a guided walk, and gain insights into the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park’s ecosystems, history, and conservation efforts. The guide will explain the oceanography and resident and migratory species of the Gulf as you sail.
This eco adventure is the only day sailing trip departing from Waiheke Island into the outer Hauraki Gulf. Skipper Bruce invites participants to take the helm or assist with sail trimming. The itinerary adjusts based on wind and weather to ensure a comfortable experience.
