Description

Discover the wines of Waiheke on a scenic guided tour with a small group that visits boutique vineyards. It’s easy to hop on a morning ferry and cross the Hauraki Gulf for the short ride to Waiheke island. Your guide meets you upon arrival and shares a lively scenic commentary with photo stops as you head to local vineyards for tastings. Learn about the island's history and culture . Afterward, choose to have lunch at the last winery or at one of the many dining venues in the seaside village of Oneroa. Either take the included transfer back to the ferry, or stay longer and make your own way back to the ferry. Important Information

• Catch the 9.15am Island direct ferry bookable or the Fullers 9.00am walk up ferry, look for your name on our black welcome board or wait at the Information Centre inside the ferry terminal. We then go on a scenic tour with photo stops, all fully commentated, then visit 3 of the best vineyards on the island for Premium tasting with a food and wine pairing at one of the vineyards, lunch stop 2pm . We recommend you book your lunch choice in the busy season . Mudbrick Archive at 2pm or the Oyster inn, or Vino Vino in the village of Oneroa at 2.15pm, or enjoy one of the many other cafe's or eateries. Your guide will arrange the pick up back to the 4 pm ferry, or stay on the island and catch a later ferry home.
