Description
This adventure begins on Waiheke Island, 30 minutes from central Auckland by fast ferry. The 3-hour tour combines scenic views with a dual zipline flight over native forests.
En route to the zipline site, you’ll see Waiheke’s beaches, multimillion-dollar properties, and boutique wineries. At the site, you’ll be equipped for the zipline experience, one of New Zealand’s premier eco-activities.
The course features three dual ziplines, each over 650 feet (200 meters) long. Zip side-by-side with a partner over a working vineyard and native forest. Along the way, enjoy views of Auckland, Rangitoto Island, and the Hauraki Gulf.
After the final zipline, the experience ends with an interpretive guided walk back to the visitor center. Guides will explain the local flora, fauna, and the Māori and European history of Waiheke Island.

Participation involves some risks including general physical challenges, potential minor injuries (sprains, bumps), and serious harm risks such as concussion or worsening existing medical conditions (pregnancy, heart issues). Falls could result in serious injury or death.

Important Information
- No age restrictions, but participants must weigh between 30kg (66lbs) and 125kg (275lbs)
- All participants zip independently, not in tandem
- At least one adult must accompany and supervise participants aged 15 or under
- For visitors under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the disclosure form
- Non-zipping spectators are not permitted
- The activity runs year-round; bring warm clothes, waterproof gear, and sturdy footwear for winter walks
- In summer, sun protection and water are recommended
- Closed-toe, secure footwear is required
- Booking changes within 24 hours of departure incur a $49 rescheduling fee per person
