Situated directly opposite the Civic Theatre on Wellesley Street and just off Queen Street, it's a convenient central city location that attracts a real mixture of patrons from businessmen to backpackers, students and tourists. The pub offers a easy going atmosphere by day and fun and a lively vibe at night.
The menu provides diners with a wide range of pub fare including their homemade burger, homemade Beef & Guinness pie, roast of the day, pizzas and fish and chips. There is also are 'specials' served every day. The breakfast menu is available from 10.00 until 3.00pm.
The pub is also known for their Steak Night Feast' on Tuesdays from 5.00 to 9.00 pm, which offers a quarter kilo of steak for only $10 or a half kilo rump for only & $15 served with mash potatoes or chips and home-made gravy.
