Originally a small 40-seat eatery, One Tree Grill has grown quickly to become an established, quality restaurant on Auckland's dining scene. It's glamorous, with lovely big chairs and sofas in the bar area, and an amazing see-through floor down to the cellar. The restaurant is an oasis of warm chocolate browns and beiges, with crisp white tablecloths and sparkling glasses, and staff who are genuinely committed to making your evening the best that it can be.
The restaurant offers an a la carte lunch and dinner menu, with appetising entrees such as Scallop Ravioli and Seared Venison Tenderloin, and mains that really whet the appetite - from Roasted Pork Belly Roulade and Confit of Duck, to Lamb Rack and Provencal Panisse. It's the grill where this place really comes into its own, though, with a varied selection of meats from beef, to tuna, to venison. Complement your steak with one of the speciality house sauces such as Cabernet Jus, Truffled Bearnaise or Gorgonzola Blue Cheese, and this is one meal you won't be forgetting in a hurry.
