Lime

The tight-knit wood and brick interior of this cocktail, beer and wine bar in Ponsonby, Auckland, attracts regular crowds on the weekends.

The mixed-drinks menu is the most popular, with a heavily New Zealand-orientated wine and beer list for those who don't want cocktails.

Lime serves some food, but it's largely 'at the bar' type snacks to complement the drinking. While a little too intimate to be used as a live venue, Lime does manage to host some solo artists, and plays everything from oldies to super oldies, which means it tends to attract something of a mature drinking crowd.
