Built in 1873, The Albion of Auckland is situated opposite the Sky Tower in the heart of downtown Auckland, and is one of New Zealand's oldest hotels.
The hotel features its own English styled tavern and restaurant serving quality food and with over 13 beers available on tap. The menu features a range of pasta dishes, burgers and 'mains' including pork belly, steak and fish and chips.
The spacious tavern hosts live music and various themed events throughout the week while. A pool table, SKY TV, a TAB for placing bets on the horses and a gaming machine lounge is situated towards the rear of the building.
Functions:
The tavern can be hired out for group functions with a capacity of up to 250 guests. The team can organise all aspects from lighting, music and entertainment to food and even accommodation for guests.
