Situated in the upmarket suburb of Parnell, La Cigale French Style Farmers Market is as the name suggests, a french influenced weekly market filled with seasonal fresh produce.

The stalls include freshly baked bread stalls, french crepes, fruit and vegetables, spice stalls, fish, smoked sausages, cheese, preserves, oils, cakes and much more.

The market has a couple of sit down cafes in the mddle of the market where you can choose from a wide range of delicious pastries to accompany your morning cup of coffee.  There is also a wine shop selling a decent selection of french wines. 

Live music adds to the atmosphere which is a packed with locals and tourists alike enjoying browsing the stalls at the weekend.  As it's a busy market, parking is limited so best to arrive early. The market is about a ten minute walk to Parnell high street and a lovely selection of cafes, boutique shops and upmarket restaurants.

The market is located on St Georges Bay Road. For parking, it's best to drive in from The Strand entrance or Garfield Street.
