Churchill Park - Auckland
The main park entrance is off Riddell Road in Glendowie.
Churchill Park as you would expect, takes it name from England's wartime Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, when it was created in 1945.
Located in the suburb of Glendowie, a few minutes drive from the beaches of St Heliers and Mission Bay, the 40 acre park is a quiet retreat which features a few streams, walkways and grazing cattle!
