Okahu Bay is a small sandy beach off Tamaki Drive.  Although a busy road, there's usually places to park on the main road.  The white sandy beach enjoys a picturesque setting with views of the Auckland skyline, Hauraki Gulf and the coastal town of Devonport.

Close to the beach you'll find Kelly Tarlton's Sea Aquarium, one of the city's most popular family attractions.  A few minutes drive further along Tamaki Drive brings you to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park and some wonderful views of the the region.

Much of the traffic though will be heading to the popular beachside suburbs of Mission Bay and St Heliers Bay.
