The Emerald - Takapuna Beach , Auckland - FAQs for Visitors

Do you have accessible rooms?

We have an accessible studio located on the ground floor, with parking available outside the room. This studio has one queen bed, one single bed and an accessible bathroom. It also has a lounge, dining table, tea and coffee-making facilities and a mini fridge. Please let us know when booking, via info@emerald-inn.co.nz

What time is check-in and checkout?

Check-in is available from 1pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only.

What if I arrive after office hours?

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 2pm. Should you plan to arrive outside of these times, please let us know. We will leave a note on the door of reception with your name and room number, and we will arrange to leave a key under the mat outside your door.

Can I smoke or vape?

Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any room on the property. If you do smoke or vape, then you may be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.

Can I have guests?

Yes however, no visitors are allowed in rooms after 10pm. Guests under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a guest aged 18 years or over.

Do you charge for damages to room or property?

Yes, should any damage be incurred to the room or property, you may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.
