There's no shortage of things to for kids in Auckland. From theme parks, zoos and aquariums to indoor snow parks, and museums, there's a plethora of family friendly things to do here - and not everything has to cost a lot of money.
Auckland For Kids is not limited to sedate, protective environments like parks and playgrounds. There's the popular theme park of Rainbow's End to keep everyone amused, plus numerous wildlife parks, including the family favourite Auckland Zoo. MOTAT offers a fun and interactive experience of New Zealand's transport history, while Snowplanet is a chance to hit indoor ski slopes all year round. The SkyTower is one of the city's biggest draws, where you can see the city 192 metres high above the ground. Kids can even do the SkyWalk at the top of the SkyTower. Or, the whole family can head over to do the Harbour Bridge Walk and other challenging activities including a bungy jump. There are also loads of educational museums, plus a planetarium. A hop on a tourist bus is a great way to find your bearings, visit many of the attractions and plan the rest of your trip
