Renkon is a chain of Japanese restuarants in the Auckland region which offers both dine-in and takeaway options. The restaurants use traditional Japanese ingredients but with a kiwi twist and are licensed to serve sake and wine, while green tea is also offered.
The restaurants' signtaure Donburi rice dishes and Udon noodle dishes are offered across the chain. The branch locations currently include Parnell, Ponsonby, Newmarket, Takapuna and the downtown location on Durham Street.
The menu includes such donburi dishes as Teriyaki Chicken, Yakiniku Beef, Egg Katsu and Ginger Pork. Udon Noodle dishes include Misodare Chicken Udon, Teriyaki Chicken Udon,Tempua Udon and Beef Curry Udon.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
